Following the big release party last night (Blame_Stosh's report coming soon), Hasbro UK have sent out a press release for the NERF MEGA Centurion.
There isn't much new here but it does at least confirm the blasters ranges.
Read the official UK press release after the jump.

Most of this we already knew. There aren't any revelations here but at least this is a solid confirmation that the European market will be getting the wimpy version.
The official release was this morning but I have been getting emails from people reportedly picking up Centurions from Argos and Toys 'R' Us from as early as last week.
Currently the best deal out there is at Toys 'R' Us where you will receive a free dart pack with your blaster. Trust me, you'll need them!
So we get shafted twice, all the defects of the US version and worse ranges. At least we knew it blowed early, imagine how hacked off kids who get this for Xmas are going to be.
ReplyDeleteI suppose the other possibility is that the US box is actually being a bit cheeky with the range and ours is honest.
I am told that they have addressed the issue of the Centurion munching darts but yea, it blows that we get weedy ranges. Damned EU!
