Turns out the guys on Baidu who released those lovely pictures did have a video camera after all.

New Range? - Nerf Zombie Strike
Later this year, Hasbro will be releasing the brand new Rebelle line of blasters designed for girls. If this is news to you, where have you been?
Nerf Rebelle Wildshot |
Whilst I think this new range is a brilliant thing in terms of both blaster styling, and political correctness alike, what do us red blooded, Y chromosomal gents get?
The answer? What do we all love more than nerf?
Bacon?
No.
Zombies!

New Centurion info - Including a picture!
Big thanks to Urbantaggers for bringing this new photo to our attention. From first glances this picture will confirm the sheer SIZE of this blaster, not too mention the fact that it is one piece - not like the Longstrike or Longshot. It's also nice to see that the rail is flush to the rest of the blaster, allowing for a better chance of a scope working on this blaster. The new darts also look really cool, and it'll be interesting to see if conversion to standard darts will be possible without major modification. The only thing that is slightly off (for me) is the distance from trigger and magazine, but I'll sure that can be solved easily *insert evil grin here*.
Either way, I (and probably UKNerfWar) will be very happy when our pre-ordered blasters become available!

I went on the Internet, and I found this...
Firstly,
allow me to introduce myself. My name is BritNerfMogul, or at least
it is when I'm on the internet talking about Nerf. I been 'nerfing'
for just under a decade, and have extensive knowledge of Nerf
blasters and modifying them, going so far as to running my own
company, Higson Armouries. Recently I became involved in a new
LARP event in my local area. The game is known as
Dark
Tempus, and
runs as a Post Apocalypse game play. Set out over 2 days starting on
Friday evening and finishing on Sunday afternoon, players were left
to roam free, fight off zombie hordes, and try to start a new world
in the midsts of staff trying to create distractions, thefts and all
out spanner-in-the-works escapades.

New Author - Welcome BritNerfMogul
As much fun as blogging about your hobby is, it can be hard work. I don't mean to say that sitting watching Spaced whilst typing is particularly taxing, but going out, meeting people and finding stories to write about can be.
Luckily for me, there's a new cop in town...

A New Look
The website elves we have working for us here at UK Nerf have been working overtime on the blog to help us freshen it up a little.
We're happy with it for now but it's very much 'work in progress'.
Until we're finished we'll keep prodding the elves with sharp things and bribing them with cookies to try and get the most out of them. Keep an eye out for the changes as they come.
No elves were harmed in the making of this website but a couple of fairies were maimed at a party last week. We're not really too sure what happened but the police were called and a full investigation has been launched. We will not stop until we find out what happened... or lunch, whichever is sooner. Our thoughts are with the families of the fairies to whom we have sent the mutilated remains and our condolences.

LARP Aid 2013
LARP Aid is a three day charity event and for the last 10 years, these guys have been raising money through the LARP community and donating the proceeds to charity. This year’s event was only the 3rd one held in Kent and was in honour of the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance. This is a charity that is close to my heart so I was keen to go along, check it out and help in any way that I could.
